About
Frances Anderson is a Scottish landscape photographer and artist living in Edinburgh.
A self taught photographer, she worked as a press photographer before travelling to Eastern Europe to document life in a remote orphanage and village in Moldova. For many years she worked as a psychologist and social worker before returning to photography a few years ago. During this time she also curated several significant photography exhibitions, including working with and curating British war photographer Don McCullins work.
Her work focuses on landscapes and she produces ethereal like images, capturing the ever changing light and timeless beauty of Scotlands landscapes.
